Carmelite Vocation is a "Magnet Of LOVE" 2

when brother willow told us that if we could go to manila for a live-in xperience with the brothers of carmel and attend a recollection im so xcited coz ive never been to manila and it will be the first time for me to ride an airplane, i was so xcited at that time especially on the 3oth of october. nag half day nga ko noon eh.. sa sobrang xcited ko i cant sleep kasi iniisip ko na ayan na sasakay na ako ng airplane hehehe, medyo nakakahiya pero totoo talaga... im so xcited to go to manila coz ive never been there since time of memorial i told my officemate before na "mamatay nalang tayo pero hindi parin tayo makakapunta ng manila at makasakay ng eroplano" .. for me going to manila is a grace form the lord coz i prayed a lot to our lady of mt. carmel na sana makarating kami dyan, when bro. willow told us that if we could possibly go there and attend the 3 day live in recollection with the borther i was very happy.. but the road of going there is not that smooth, weve been through a lot of trials and suffering.. i went to carmel cebu and wrote a letter to the sisters asking thier prayers so that we could hurdle this big problem that weve been through.. i even talk to mama mary our lady of mt. carmel na if i cant make it, kahit si nelvin nalang para ma xperience nya at masabi din nya sa akin ang lahat ng nangyari at kaganapan sa kanyang xperience... but God is Good all the time.. our LAdy of Mt. Carmel answer my prayer... nelvin bought the ticket and all systems go na kami papuntang manila... pagdating namin sa manila aba.. syempre excited ako first time koya makapunta ng manila hehehe... the brothers in vocation ministry headed by borther willow fetch us at the airport together with with brother jeff... we went to a a fastfood to take our breakfast...syempre gutom na kaya ako hehehe nakakahiya.. but after that we went immediately to the semenary.. xcited ako..
pagdating namin sa semenary saktong2 na nag breakfast na ang mga brothers andun din si father dan, nahihiya kasi we introduce our self... and i was very happy kasi warm na warm yung welcome nila.... and then the rest is history.. hheeheheh hindi...
nag tour kami together with brother wen..
we went to our rooms and have a rest for a while before going to ocds and start our recollections withe the rest of the aspirants.

Fluvial Parade of the Child King

It has been a tradition to have the image of the Child Jesus visit His parents before His grand day. The icon will be leaving His home in the Basilica del Sto. Niño which is in the heart of Cebu City and will be paraded to His foster father in the St. Joseph Parish in Mandaue City, another city next to His domicile. A great number of dynamic and lively devotees will be following the Infant, as He make His way, once a year, to His father Joseph. The Niño stays with His father for a day and a night, while believers from nearby cities and municipalities can join with Jesus’ celebration and have a vigil in the parish. After an overnight stay with His father, He will be voyaging His way to His mother in a nearby island in Lapu-Lapu. The ceremonies in Cebu begin with this early morning fluvial procession, reenacting the coming of the Spaniards. The Holy Child Jesus is usually kept in a glass case bedecked with blossoming flowers, which will be carried by...
