Famous Quotes About The Holy Rosary

"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death,
I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity
of your sins you shall receive a never-fading
crown of glory.  Even if you are on the brink
of damnation, even if you have one foot in
hell, even if you have sold your soul to the
devil as sorcerers do who practise black magic,
and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a
devil, sooner or later you will be converted
and will amend your life and will save your
soul, if-- and mark well what I say-- if you
say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until
death for the purpose of knowing the truth and
obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins."

- St. Louis De Montfort

"The rosary is the book of the blind, where
souls see and there enact the greatest drama
of love the world has ever known; it is the
book of the simple, which initiates them into
mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than

the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of
this world, and open on the substance of the
next.  The power of the rosary is beyond
description."

- Archbishop Fulton Sheen

Rosary Promises from Mary to Blessed Alan de la Roche

1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation
of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest
graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell,
it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it
will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it
will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the
world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire
of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify
themselves by this means.

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the
recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying
himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries

shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

have during their life and at their death the light of
God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of
death they shall participate in the merits of the
Saints in Paradise.

devoted to the Rosary.

of the Rosary.

13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the
advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the
entire celestial court during their life and at the hour
of death.

14. All who recite the Rosary are my children, and

Why you should say the Rosary daily...

Our Lady has 117 titles. She selected this title at
Fatima: "I am the Lady of the Rosary."

St. Francis de Sales said the greatest method of
praying is - Pray the Rosary.

St. Thomas Aquinas preached 40 straight days in Rome
Italy on just the Hail Mary.

St. John Vianney, patron of priests, was seldom seen
without a rosary in hand.

Fatima

The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared at Fatima to three
shepherd children in 1917, as "Our Lady of the Rosary".
While this is a private revelation, it has been
approved by the Church as being true. While it is not
binding on the faithful as dogma, Mary did ask each one
of us to say the Rosary daily for peace and for the
sinners on earth, who will go to hell if no one prays
for them. By making it a habit to say the rosary daily,
we not only are obeying the Blessed Mother's request,
we are saving souls from Hell.

Ave Maria......! Happy Birthday Mama Mary....... We love you....... Ave Maria...!

Mary is the supreme masterpiece of Almighty God and he has reserved the knowledge and possession of her for himself. She is the glorious Mother of God the Son who chose to humble and conceal her during her lifetime in order to foster her humility. He called her "Woman" as if she were a stranger, although in his heart he esteemed and loved her above all men and angels. Mary is the sealed fountain and the faithful spouse of the Holy Spirit where only he may enter. She is the sanctuary and resting-place of the Blessed Trinity where God dwells in greater and more divine splendour than anywhere else in the universe, not excluding his dwelling above the cherubim and seraphim. No creature, however pure, may enter there without being specially privileged.    I declare with the saints: Mary is the earthly paradise of Jesus Christ the new Adam, where he became man by the power of the Holy Spirit, in order to accomplish

What is a martyr?

"Martyrdom is the supreme witness given to the truth of the faith: it means bearing witness even unto death. The martyr bears witness to Christ who died and rose, to whom he/she is united by charity. He/she bears witness to the truth of the faith and of Christian doctrine. He/she endures death through an act of fortitude." - CCC n. 2473 Martyrs do not just die for the Catholic faith.  They live the faith before they become martyrs. Blessed Pedro Calungsod was endowed with the Christian virtues needed by saints and martyrs to live and to die for Catholic faith:   Faith by making God the center of his life and his constant reference point. Not only did Pedro firmly believe the truths of the faith taught by the Church, but he also studied them thoroughly.  His knowledge so affected his life that he volunteered to go to the missions with Fr, Diego. Hope  that was rooted in his strong faith in God and fully alive with the enthusiasm of his youth.  The vir
